Biography
Nafisa Islam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF), specializing in AI and Machine Learning. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of large language models (LLMs), cloud-based AI solutions, and applied machine learning, with a strong focus on Azure and OpenAI technologies.
Nafisa has hands-on experience working with Azure OpenAI services, where she has designed and deployed batch processing pipelines, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based chatbots, and end-to-end machine learning solutions in cloud environments. She has also contributed to the development of scalable LLM-powered applications, emphasizing reliability, efficiency, and responsible AI practices.
With a good knowledge of data handling and growing experience in modern AI frameworks, Nafisa continues to develop her technical skills and contribute to research and engineering projects in the field of computer engineering.
