Biography
Nandan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Pune, India. As a researcher his focus was studying wide-bandgap semiconductors using DFT based computational materials science tools on high performance computing environments. Before joining UCF, Nandan was a senior research associate at Michigan State University. He has experience using many computational materials science DFT based software. At UCF, he is available for advice on HPC system use, cyberinfrastructure needs and on-boarding of new users to advanced computing resources. He is interested in machine learning applications in material science and large data management applications.
