Biography
Nick has a Bachelor’s of Science in both Math and Science from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at UCF. His research interests are very broadly in scientific computing and computational mathematics. Specifically, his doctoral work revolves around developing and implementing algorithms to solve inverse scattering problems. Nick is proficient in Python and MATLAB and is experienced with shell scripting and using Linux. In the past, he served as a teaching assistant and instructor of record for Calculus 1 and 2 in the Math Department. Outside of school, Nick enjoys lifting weights, running, and watching the Miami Heat.
